Capital Fund Program

The Stamford Housing Authority utilizes the Capital Fund Program to fund its federal developments’ capital improvements. This funding, provided annually by HUD, is an important element in providing for such improvements as new roofs, kitchens, bathrooms, elevator renovation, and heating systems.

Additionally, the Capital Fund Program provides for management improvements which assist in funding security programs. The SHA is able to plan for the use of this funding using a 5 year planning tool which is submitted and updated annually.
